No debating who is the best
With the men’s and women’s college basketball seasons coming to a close, one thing was evident the best teams won the titles.Take the men’s championship with North Carolina defeating hometown Michigan State.
The Tar Heels were the best team at the start of the season, stumbled and finished with a flurry. They dominated all their tournament games and were clearly were the best every time they stepped on the floor.
On the women’s side, the UConn women were a juggernaut. The Huskies went 39-0 and won every game by double digits. I don’t know if women’s basketball was just that bad or the Huskies were just that good. I think a little of both.
While sometimes the best teams don’t win the tournaments, that wasn’t the case this year.
